Lately, it has been hot, so I decided to do something that would make life a little easier. I cooked a bunch of different meals in the crock pot, put them into containers, and froze them. That way, when the weather is hot, I wouldn't have to do much cooking. Then a flyer came in from the local Mexican market. Life has taken me on quite a journey! From the glamorous world of international modeling and producing the Miss Beverly Hills pageant, I transitioned to the ever-evolving world of internet content creation and currently work as a professional photographer.
Life throws unexpected curveballs. In 2010, I experienced the loss of my father, and then in 2020, I faced the challenge of overcoming a stroke. Both events led me to a deeper connection with my spirituality. I find inspiration in nature, whether it's during a hike in the mountains or a walk along the beach. These moments of quiet reflection, often spent in God's presence, spark the "musings" you'll find peppered throughout this blog.
Through a combination of my photography and writing (affectionately called "Musings by Jean"), I hope to motivate and inspire you. My goal is to share the spiritual awakenings, life epiphanies, and everyday thoughts that come to mind during these introspective moments.
As a Christian woman in my 50s, I believe in the importance of health and wellness – a holistic approach that encompasses mind, body, and soul. Here, you'll find reflections on this connectedness, all woven together to create a tapestry of inspiration and potential coaching opportunities in the future.
Welcome!
So, grab a cup of tea, settle in, and join me on this exploration of faith, nature's beauty, and the wisdom gleaned from life's experiences.
